Soil Tunnel Trailer
The Soil Tunnel Trailers (STT) are self-contained, enclosed trailer featuring soils and the interactions of our natural resources underground. The Soil Tunnel Trailers educate youth and adults about the relationship between their daily activities and the resulting effects on soil and other natural resources.
KACD owns two Soil Tunnel Trailers. The Soil Tunnel Trailers are available for conservation districts across the state to use for school and community events as well as fairs and earth day festivals. Find your conservation district to ask them about bringing the soil trailer to your event!

Things to Know Before You Submit Your Request
The western Soil Tunnel Trailer is housed in Pawnee County (Larned). See the calendar on the Western Kansas Soil Tunnel Trailer website for availability and scheduling.
The eastern Soil Tunnel Trailer is housed in Franklin County (Ottawa). See calendar below for the eastern Soil Tunnel Trailer availability. Reservations can be made at the link below. A 2" ball is required for towing and when requesting your time don't forget to include time for pick-up and drop-off in Ottawa.
