Current Envirothon Issue

Each year a new current issue is established for Envirothon. The current issue for the 2024 Kansas competition is “Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future”. 

As a team, students will analyze the issue, taking an in-depth look to explore the many facets of the issue and the complexities of real-life decision making. Past Current Issues have found students focusing on soil health, the relationship between agriculture and the environment, water quality issues, changes in our climate, recreational impacts on natural resources, invasive species and so many more!
