Resource Conservation & Development Councils in Kansas
There are five active RC&D’s in Kansas which serves 40 counties in Kansas and partner with local conservation districts on many programs and projects.
The five active councils are:
- Glacial Hills in Wetmore, Kansas
- Lake Region in Ottawa, Kansas,
- See-Kan in Chanute Kansas,
- Sunflowern Harper, Kansas
- Western Prairie in Colby, Kansas.
These five indicidual councils make up the State RC&D Association.
The State RC&D Association is a member of the National RC&D Council.
