Pollinator Habitat Improvement Award

The KACD Pollinator Habitat Improvement Award is designed to recognize individual or family farmer/ranchers committed to promoting the importance of, and improving habitat for, pollinators. Pollinators are integral to our ecosystems and our economy and millions of people are contributing to pollinator habitat in their own backyard. KACD actively supports initiatives that focus on understanding, preventing and recovering from pollinator losses and this award is one way KACD can recognize those working towards the same goal. Awardees understand just how important pollinators are to food, culture, and life. KACD hopes the Pollinator Habitat Improvement Award will serve as encouragement for others to implement future action on behalf of pollinators. One KACD Pollinator Habitat Improvement Award winner is recognized at the KACD annual convention hosted in November.
