Outstanding Supervisor Award

The KACD Outstanding Supervisor Award is presented annually to recognize county conservation district supervisors for their superior contributions and excellent leadership in promoting conservation in their community, their county and throughout the state.  These supervisors not only fulfil their duties as local officials, but also demonstrate a sincere interest and dedication to the promotion of the KACD mission. They are conservation leaders with a desire to educate the general public about KACD activities and conservation efforts. They are in tune with legislation and current issues at the state and national level that can impact conservation programs and conservation delivery. They serve as advocates for KACD, conservation, natural resources and other environmental issues by serving on regional or state committees, advisory groups or other conservation related boards. These individuals dedicate their time and efforts to the conservation of our natural resources and have demonstrated professional growth during there time on the conservation district board. The KACD Outstanding Supervisor Award is a way to honor and thank the individuals who dedicate their time and efforts to the conservation of our natural resources and to the betterment of our association through their contributions and leadership.
