Important: Federal Resumes Are Now Limited to Two Pages

Students preparing to apply should be aware of an important change to the federal hiring process. Resumes submitted through USAJOBS are now limited to a maximum of two pages.

Applicants submitting resumes longer than two pages will be removed from consideration, making it essential to review and update application materials before submitting.

Students should focus on highlighting their relevant education, experience, skills, and qualifications while keeping their resumes clear, concise, and within the required length.

To help applicants prepare, the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) has shared helpful federal resume-writing tips and guidance.
