Specialty Crop & Urban

USDA is accepting applications for grants to support urban agriculture and innovative production. The competitive grants will support the development of urban agriculture and innovative production projects through two categories, Planning Projects and Implementation Projects.

This workshop will focus on ag topics for specialty growers. The featured  speaker will be Roger McEowen, Professor of Agriculture Law and Taxation at Washburn University School of Law, Topeka. USDA representatives from Farm Service Agency, Farm Loan Program; and Natural Resources Conservation Service will also be on hand to discuss microloans and farm planning.
