Our Mission: Providing leadership and assistance in promoting individual responsibility for the conservation of Douglas County natural resources.
Overview:

The Kansas Association of Conservation Districts is a local governmental entity established to promote and implement conservation practices. Your local conservation district plays a crucial role in managing natural resources, such as soil, water, and wildlife habitats, to ensure sustainable land use and environmental health. Conservation districts can provide technical assistance and resources to farmers, landowners, and communities, and help them adopt practices that prevent soil erosion, manage water quality, and enhance biodiversity, and much more! By collaborating with various stakeholders, districts contribute to the preservation of ecosystems, the prevention of natural disasters, and the overall improvement of the state's environmental resilience!

• We have 3 different No-till Drills to rent.
• We have a manuer Spreader for rent. 
• We provide prescribed burn equipment for check out.
• We Provide Soil Testing Equipment for check out.
• We provide soil testing for Douglas County residents through the K-State extention. 
• We sell native grass seed at a discount for Douglas County residents.
